Your best day ever

Hey Reader heyyyyyyy!

My birthday was two days ago!

I wanted to wait to write you — so I could tell you how the day went.

It was beautiful.

🌅 A 4:45am sunrise drive with breathtaking views (pictured above)
🎙️ Recording a new podcast episode (coming soon!)
🏓 A quick hour of pickleball
🗺️ A birthday-freebie scavenger hunt with the kids! Lol
💆🏽‍♀️ A spa day with my Hubbae

Needless to say, this new trip around the sun is off to a joy-filled start.

But want to know why I was truly so grateful that day?

Because just a few years ago, a day like this would have felt impossible.

I would have felt guilty taking this time for myself.
Selfish, even.
Like I had to earn rest.

But God started changing that in me when He stamped John 4 on my heart.

The story of a tired, overlooked woman who meets Jesus at the well.

She came for water, weighed down with shame.
But she left with living water.
Water that refreshed her spirit and soul.
Water that offered rest, peace, and abundant life.

That’s the vision behind JOYrney Daily™: RESTED & ROOTED.

Each day I pray for the women who are still:

  • Holding it all together while falling apart
  • Showing up for everyone while neglecting their own soul
  • Longing for quiet but surrounded by noise

And through building a practice of daily meditation around God’s Words (over my own thoughts and fears) now I’ve:

✨ learned how to choose rest without guilt.
✨ learned to abide instead of hustle.
✨ learned to truly hear God in the quiet.

That’s what I want for you, too.

So if you could live out your DREAM day, what would it look like?

And if you’ve ever wondered:
“Could I really carve out space for my own dream days?”

I want you to know:
It is possible.
You deserve it.
You don’t have to wait for the “perfect time” to make them happen.

…And you definitely don’t need to figure it out alone.

✨ Applications for JOYrney Daily™: RESTED & ROOTED are open for one more day now.
✨ Founding Member pricing ends tomorrow.

PS:
If you’re curious about the story of the woman at the well, how it impacted me, and what it has to do with YOU creating more time and space for REST on your calendar check out this podcast episode.

Not your season right now? No worries. Just reply and say “Not now” — I’ll keep you in prayer!

Erica

The JOYrney™ isn’t always loud… but it’s always leading somewhere. 😉 Hey Reader, Happy FriYAYYYYYYY!!!! I’ve been feeling a little ✨SPARKLY✨ this week — but not because of anything particularly flashy. More because I’ve been sitting with a question: How do you lead when the work you’re doing goes unseen? That’s the question I’ve been sitting with lately — especially with all 3 kiddos home for summer break. This season has slowed me down (whether I planned for it or not 😅), and in that...

Hey Reader, Happy FriYaaayy! I wanted to share something a little personal with you today. UPATE: I didn’t get the job. (I told you I’d keep you updated!) But here’s the thing: I’m actually celebrating this “no.” When something doesn’t work out the way you planned, it’s so easy to feel discouraged or question your worth. But this experience? It left me feeling incredibly grateful. Here are 4 reasons I’m celebrating this “no”. The JOY of putting myself out there in a new way — and remembering...

Hey Reader, Happy Tuesday! How is your week going so far?! My first full week of being 38 wore me OUT. But in all the best ways possible. 😊 Lol Every year for my birthday I spent time to really reflect. I typically do this as a journal entry – but this year I did it as a LIVE podcast episode. This past year has taught me more than any planner, productivity hack, or hustle ever could. It’s taught me about rest.About abiding.About slowing down enough to hear God’s voice whisper. So for my...
