Hey Reader heeeeey! 😊 Happy Tuesday, friend! It’s been a minute since we’ve connected. What’s new in your world? I’ve been sitting with a question lately, and I want to bring you into the process: “What are you willing to let go of, in order to have what you want?” For me, this has meant really examining where my time, energy, and JOY are going — and if I’m being honest, one thing on the table has been this newsletter. Not because I don’t love writing to you. Honestly, this space brings me so much JOY. But… it has also been a lot. Between mom-life, marriage, producing bi-weekly episodes of the JOYrney To Purpose® podcast, networking to bring the JOYrney™ programs to new women and organizations, and maintaining an online presence via social platforms, keeping up with this newsletter has sometimes felt like one more thing. And with costs to keep the platform, time, and limited engagement/growth compared to my other online spaces… I’ve wondered if it’s still the best use of our shared energy. So I’m at a crossroads, and I’d love your input before I decide: A) Do I let this go? BTW: This is not intended to be a rhetorical question. Your voice really matters here. That said, can you take 30-seconds to share your thoughts in this quick survey👇🏽? Why This MattersBecause the truth is: this community is personal for me. When I created my first program, The JOY Quest™, back in 2019 it wasn’t for clients or even my business. It was for me. As a brand-new stay-at-home mom, I was grateful but exhausted — lost in the roles of wife, mother, and wanting to pursue a creative career – but feeling like I didn’t have the time, energy, or resources to do so. I didn’t know who I was anymore. So I committed to doing at least ONE JOYful thing daily. Then I moved on to committing to spending a minimum of 30-60 minutes a day on JOY, and started sharing the creative outcomes online and in community. That personal choice, turned into a daily reset that helped me: It gave me hope. And it’s the same hope I want this community to spark for you, too. So tell me: should we keep this space alive — and if so, what would make it most meaningful for you? Take the survey or just hit “reply” and let me know. Because whether through this newsletter, the podcast, or our Work-Life JOY Quiz, my prayer is the same: that you find rest, clarity, and JOY for the season you’re in. We’re on the JOYrney™ together… ONE feel-good thing at a time. Erica PS: If we continue forward, I’ll definitely be sure to let you know. And I’ll also be sure to share where we’ll be heading with this space in a future email. So keep an eye out! The JOYrney To Purpose® Podcast In case you missed it: Last month I wrapped a 3-part Life + Leadership Study on King Jehoshaphat (2 Chronicles) over on the podcast and YouTube — exploring how REST leads to sustainable JOY, clarity, and peace in distressing and uncertain times. You can binge the full 3-part series on YouTube or your favorite podcast app. Check out my newest episode of the podcast, featuring one of my favorite new friends and family members. It’s going to be good!

The JOYrney™ isn’t always loud… but it’s always leading somewhere. 😉 Hey Reader, Happy FriYAYYYYYYY!!!! I’ve been feeling a little ✨SPARKLY✨ this week — but not because of anything particularly flashy. More because I’ve been sitting with a question: How do you lead when the work you’re doing goes unseen? That’s the question I’ve been sitting with lately — especially with all 3 kiddos home for summer break. This season has slowed me down (whether I planned for it or not 😅), and in that...
Hey Reader, Happy FriYaaayy! I wanted to share something a little personal with you today. UPATE: I didn’t get the job. (I told you I’d keep you updated!) But here’s the thing: I’m actually celebrating this “no.” When something doesn’t work out the way you planned, it’s so easy to feel discouraged or question your worth. But this experience? It left me feeling incredibly grateful. Here are 4 reasons I’m celebrating this “no”. The JOY of putting myself out there in a new way — and remembering...
Hey Reader, Happy Tuesday! How is your week going so far?! My first full week of being 38 wore me OUT. But in all the best ways possible. 😊 Lol Every year for my birthday I spent time to really reflect. I typically do this as a journal entry – but this year I did it as a LIVE podcast episode. This past year has taught me more than any planner, productivity hack, or hustle ever could. It’s taught me about rest.About abiding.About slowing down enough to hear God’s voice whisper. So for my...
