Today's my birthday... and one word keeps coming to mind.

Hey Reader heyyyyyy!

Happy FriYayyyyy, friend! Not sure if you know this, but today is my birthday!

And it's already off to such a beautiful start. 🥹🙌🏾

This morning I returned to the exact same spot where I watched the sunrise and spent time with the Lord on my birthday last year.

At this point, I think we've officially started a new tradition. 😊

As I sat with my Bible, prayed, and reflected on this past year (and the fact that I'm stepping into the final year of my 30s 😬), one word kept coming to mind:

Gratitude.

Gratitude for the Lord keeping me.

Gratitude for everything He's teaching me.

Gratitude for the gift of faith.

Gratitude for the privilege of being His daughter.

And gratitude for the prayers He's answered in ways I never could have imagined.

One of those answered prayers has been community.

The Women God Has Brought Along the Way

Over the past couple of years—and especially this past year—God has surrounded me with incredible women whose lives continually point me back to Him.

One of those women is Lauren Ash, founder of Wellness in Christ™.

Since meeting Lauren, I've been inspired by her love for Jesus, her joyful obedience, and the way she's faithfully stewarding the vision God has entrusted to her.

You'll definitely be hearing more about Lauren in Season 6 of the podcast because her testimony is absolutely incredible.

Trust me... you won't want to miss that conversation.

In the meantime, Lauren is preparing to soft launch the community portion of Wellness in Christ™ next month. If you've been looking for a Christ-centered wellness community, I'd encourage you to check out what she's building—and if you feel led to sow into the ministry, you can do so here. Every seed truly matters.

Speaking of Community...

Maybe it's because of everything God has been teaching me this year, but I keep coming back to the same realization:

We were never meant to walk this JOYrney™ alone.

That's one of the reasons I'm spending the next few weeks having conversations with women who love God, love their families, and desire more peace, more consistency in their faith, and more margin in their everyday lives.

Not because I have all the answers.

But because I want to listen well before I build what comes next.

If that sounds like you, I'd genuinely love to hear your story.

This isn't a sales call—it's simply an opportunity for us to connect, and chat as I prayerfully seek wisdom, insight, and direction for this next season.

If you'd like to be considered for one of these conversations, you can complete the brief application below.

One Last Birthday Gift...

Before I head off to enjoy the rest of today with my family, I recorded a quick video from this morning's birthday sunrise.

I share a few reflections from my Bible study, my birthday prayer for you, and what I'm looking forward to in this next year of life.

I hope it encourages you as much as this quiet morning encouraged me.

Thank you for being part of this JOYrney™.

I pray you have a beautiful, restful, wonder-filled holiday weekend.

With JOY,

Erica

Hey Reader heyyyyyy! It has been MONTHS since we've last spoken... and friend, I've missed you! I pray you've been well, that your summer is off to a beautiful start, and that you've found moments of rest, joy, and God's presence in the midst of whatever this season is bringing your way. Over here, life has been full of change. And if I'm honest, one prayer has been on: "Lord, please give me the courage to do the scary things." Lately, I've realized that most of the scary things God is asking...

Hey Reader heeeyyyy! Happy Monday! How was your weekend? Mine was beautiful. We spent it in Baltimore celebrating my nephew’s first trip around the sun — and for nearly 48 hours… I barely looked at my phone. And honestly? It felt AMAZING. Which was especially meaningful because the the past week I had been sitting with a couple questions inspired by this thought: "Time multiplies whatever you feed it." I heard that while listening to an episode of The Diary of a CEO podcast, and my immediate...

Hey Reader heeeyyyy! Happy FriYAYYYYY! 💃🏾 So I don’t want to start this off heavy – but I’ve been thinking about this all day… Convenience kills. That might sound dramatic — but stay with me for a moment. This reflection actually started with a totally real and very ordinary mom moment. Earlier today, I was cutting grapes for my 20-month-old daughter’s morning snack. As I sliced them in half, I noticed something strange. It’s weird looking, right? 😆 lol One grape had a couple of holes in the...
