8 years ago, this decision changed everything

Hey Reader,

Let’s chat.

Maybe you’re holding it all together for everyone else — while feeling empty inside.
Maybe you’ve gotten so good at doing that you’ve forgotten how to just be.

And you might be wondering:
“Why do I need this?”
“Why now?”

Here’s the truth: You don’t need me to find REST.
But you might need help making space for it.

But you and I both know the problem:

There never seems to be ENOUGH TIME.
Life is noisy. Demanding.
Faith can start to feel like just another thing to check off, instead of the refuge it’s meant to be.

That’s why I’m curating this experience and creating JOYrney Daily™: RESTED & ROOTED.

It’s not about reading more.
It’s about carving out sacred space:

  • Moments of true quiet
  • Time to deepen your faith
  • Space to see the big picture of this season
  • The chance to make rested decisions instead of reactive ones

If you’re asking yourself, “Why is daily time in the Word the answer to all this overwhelm?”

Over the past 8 years of committing to my daily study practice, here’s what I’ve learned:
We’re not burned out because we’re busy.
We’re burned out because we’re disconnected.

✨ Disconnected from God’s love — how He sees us and desires the best for us.
✨ Disconnected from the truth that His love existed long before we knew we needed it.
✨ Disconnected from daily reminders of what truly matters.

When we lose daily intimacy with God:

✅ We work harder to prove ourselves.
✅ We measure our worth by what we can achieve.
✅ Our lives fill with noise.
✅ We forget what matters most.
✅ We try to pour from empty.

We lose the JOY that comes with truly resting in the Lord.

JOYrney Daily™: RESTED & ROOTED isn’t about adding one more obligation.
It’s about building a practice:

  • Hearing God’s voice above the chaos
  • Gently choosing the REST of His presence first — even in your busiest seasons
  • Equipping yourself to handle everything else with peace, clarity, and grace

Because when you do this consistently –
You start to think differently.
You move differently.

More aligned.
More confident.
More free.

That’s what we’ll work on together each week — through scripture, guided journaling, tailored coaching, and real Spirit-filled community.

✨ Applications are open now.
✨ Founding Member pricing ends July 6th (or once 10 spots are filled).

👉🏾 If you’re feeling that nudge, I’d be honored to hold space for you. APPLY HERE.

From there, we can set up a time to chat. I’d love to hear where you’re at and help you discern if this is the right next step.

I’ll leave you with this #JOYGem:

Recently one of my favorite scriptures to meditate on has been this: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28

If you want to hear even more of what that REST looks like in our modern world as busy women and how we can achieve it, check out a recent podcast episode I recorded about it HERE!

Not your season right now? That’s okay. Just reply “Not now” and I’ll keep you in prayer!

Have a blessed and JOY-filled day, friend!

- Erica

PS: My birthday is tomorrowwwww, and I cannot wait to share my birthday plans! 💃🏾 It’s going to be a delicious day of adventure, reflection, space, movement! Any guesses as to what I have in mind? Reply back and let me know! lol

Hey Reader heeeyyyy! Happy Monday! How was your weekend? Mine was beautiful. We spent it in Baltimore celebrating my nephew’s first trip around the sun — and for nearly 48 hours… I barely looked at my phone. And honestly? It felt AMAZING. Which was especially meaningful because the the past week I had been sitting with a couple questions inspired by this thought: "Time multiplies whatever you feed it." I heard that while listening to an episode of The Diary of a CEO podcast, and my immediate...

Hey Reader heeeyyyy! Happy FriYAYYYYY! 💃🏾 So I don’t want to start this off heavy – but I’ve been thinking about this all day… Convenience kills. That might sound dramatic — but stay with me for a moment. This reflection actually started with a totally real and very ordinary mom moment. Earlier today, I was cutting grapes for my 20-month-old daughter’s morning snack. As I sliced them in half, I noticed something strange. It’s weird looking, right? 😆 lol One grape had a couple of holes in the...
