Hey Reader, Happy FriYAYYYYY! 🎉 I hope this week has been full of inspiration, reflection, and maybe even a few moments that reminded you just how powerful you are in shaping your future. The intention for today's JOYrney Mail™ is to remind you of the power you possess as you CREATE history – letting go of the past, and living in FULL pursuit of the VISION ahead. Let's dive in! But first... let’s be real—big, bold changes? They can be terrifying. 😅 Recently, I made a decision that felt equally exciting and nerve-wracking: I’m stepping fully into a space I’ve been deeply passionate about for years—healthcare and maternal health. Now, before you ask—No, I’m not becoming a doctor! 😂 But as someone who just gave birth a few months ago, I felt firsthand the difference it makes to have nurses and doctors who are healthy, whole, and fulfilled in their careers—not just overworked and exhausted. My Labor & Delivery Nurse, Melissa, was a blessing during my birth experience, and it made me realize: this is where I want to make an impact. While I’ve spent the past four years building a business in one direction, my heart is pulling me toward creating more JOY for those who care for us. But here’s the thing: Writing this down in my journal was one thing. Saying it out loud? Committing to it on paper (or on LinkedIn 😬)? That was terrifying. So I did something different… A New Way to Approach Big, Scary GoalsThis year, instead of my usual vision board, I tried something new — Vision Bingo! And it changed everything. Rather than listing out rigid goals (which, let’s be honest, can feel overwhelming), I created a BINGO-style grid filled with fun experiences, habits, and milestones—some personal, some professional, and all designed to stretch me out of my comfort zone. Here’s how I structured mine: And you know what? Seeing my big, scary goals in a format that felt fun and exciting made it WAY easier to commit. What’s Your “Scary” Goal?We all have something that feels too big, too uncertain, or just too different from what we’ve been doing. But what if you approached it in a way that felt playful instead of stressful? So I’m inviting you to try this: 💡 Make your own Vision Bingo! And if you do try it, I’d love to see it! Tag me online (@EricaLasan on LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok) or just hit reply and share your thoughts. On the JOYrney™ together… ONE feel-good thing at a time, P.S. Hey Reader heeeeyyyy! As we stand on the edge of a new year, I’ve been reflecting — not on everything I did in 2025, but on who I was becoming as I walked through it. Last year, I felt nudged to rethink how I approached vision casting.I still love a good vision board — but 2025 invited me into something different.Something more spacious. More JOY-led. So instead of goals alone, I paid attention to fruit. My #VisionBingo board for 2025… 2026 is loading! Here are my Top Five from 2025 — not as...
Hey Reader heeeeyyyy! Christmas week is officially over and the new year is right around the corner — cue the cocoa, cookies… and the creeping overwhelm of “New Year, New You” Resolutions. But before we get there, just in case you need it – let me share a small but freeing truth: Overwhelm isn’t a sign you’re failing. It’s a sign that your JOY rhythms (and systems!) could use a reset. So if you only take one thing from this note, let it be this:Keep it simple. “Are you ready for Christmas?”...
