Happy FriYAYYYYY, Reader! May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Last week the family and I headed down to Baltimore for my 20th high school reunion. Crazy – I know! 🙈 The working moms. The caregivers. The dreamers. The women holding it all together… even when we’re crumbling inside. That reflection led me to revisit something deeply personal that I shared a couple weeks ago. Back in March I shared a 3-part video testimony about how transitioning into motherhood broke me; but how in a lot of ways it also healed me. A HUGE part of this came as a result of rediscovering my faith, and how doing so introduced me to (as Gen Z calls it) – the “soft life.” 😏 Not the IG aesthetic. For so long, I believed success required striving. But in three pivotal life seasons, God gently unraveled that belief — and taught me what JOY in obedience really feels like. Each season broke something in me. But it also opened the door to something softer, deeper… and far more fulfilling. Here’s why I’m sharing these reflections now:
Mental health isn’t just about managing stress. It’s about learning how to live without pretending you’re not drowning. It’s about letting go of what culture says you should be… So you can hear who God is actually calling you to become. If you’re navigating your own transition — whether in motherhood, business, or faith — I pray this message meets you right where you are. In the meantime, let's reflect together! What has God been using to soften you in this season? Reply back — I’d love to hear your story. And if you’re celebrating or remembering someone this weekend: Happy Mother’s Day. You’re seen, you’re loved, and your JOYrney™ matters. 💛 We’re on the JOYrney™ together… ONE feel-good thing at a time. Work With Me! If you're ever curious or in need, here are other ways I can support your JOYrney™ BTW: If you’re a nurse/working in healthcare (or know someone who is) and you’re seeing burnout firsthand, I’d love to explore how we can bring more JOY to the healthcare system. I’m conducting a personal survey to hear more about your experiences and how together we can better support you as you care for others!

Hey hey, Reader! Can you believe we’re already halfway through the year?! 😮💨 We’re halfway through 2025 — and if your goals feel a little off or outdated… you’re not alone. If you’ve been feeling off-track, stuck, or unsure about your goals, consider this your mid-year permission slip to pause, reset… and pivot with JOY. Last week, I revisited my VISION B.I.N.G.O. board and had a moment of clarity: Some things I set out to do this year still deeply resonate. Others? Not so much. Yes, there’s...
Happy Hump Day, Reader! How is your month going? And while we’re at it… how’s your mental? We’re still in May — which means it’s Mental Health Awareness Month, and with the attention of Mother’s Day already far in our rear-view, I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about what it actually means to support women —especially those navigating motherhood and caregiving. 🥹 She selected this sign all on her own. 🥰 What’s on my mind today: The other day, I saw a TikTok from a well-known influencer in...
Happy FriYAYYYYY! 💎This Week’s #JOYGem 💎 You’re not forgotten. You’re being preparing for something greater than you imagined! Hey Reader, Have you ever felt like you’re doing everything right… but God still hasn’t moved? Same. I know what it’s like to pray, prepare, stay faithful—and still feel like you’re sitting in the waiting room, wondering if your name will ever be called. But in this week’s Bible study, I was reminded of something powerful: Just because God isn’t moving doesn’t mean He...
